| The way this equipment works |
The collector consists of three rotating barrel-like drums, rotating against one another. These drums are hydraulically driven and steered by the control-unit. The surface of the drums is covered with long flexible rubberfingers which force the broilers very gently onto the collector, and further onto the conveyer-belt. This conveyer-belt brings the broilers into the containers, which are positioned on the turnable loading-platform. A fork-lift truck loads the containers on the waiting truck.
One person operates the collector, two persons control the proper filling of the containers and a fourth person operates the fork-lift truck, he is also the truckdriver, taking the load away and bringing back empty containers.
